GI

I'm sad to say, I had to submit to placing a GJTUBE for continuous feed. His reflux combined with is lungs and chronic cough made bolus feeds unsafe.
He is currently on Elecare Jr. 111cc/hour 20 hours. Adding one can of compleat for loose stools

Hip

5/9/14 presented to ER in severe pain. Screaming. Ketamine given to calm him and allow for CT scan. CT showed "gas"  GI was called and an assumption of c.diff was made and sent home on flagyl and cramping medication.

multiple nursing notes of discomfort, continue to work up as abdominal pain.

5/20/14 presented to ER with what appeared to be dislocated hip. Xray showed completely dislocated fracture of femur head. I requested the ER doctor look at CT from May 9th. CT was a clear, complete fracture still intact/aligned.
Admitted prepared for Ortho surgery.

5/22/14 blood transfusion and surgery. 5:30pm. Dr. Shaw ortho surgeon reported surgery complete, but a poor prognosis for full recovery based on grinding down of the bone. The fractured bone has been grinding together for at least 2 weeks. When I opened him up pieces of bone came out. 1-2 inches lost bone. If it was caught earlier (May 9th) prognosis would be better.

5/23/14 requeated HBOT consult to promote bone healing, ICU doctor Carlos phone consulted with HBOT doctor who said no because it was more for necrotic wounds.

5/23/14 10pm. Forensic nurse questioned Bundy about nature of the injury. Bundy was offended felt they were insinuating he broke his hip.

5/23/14 xray hip placement good. Hardware intact. Multiple displaced bone fragments.

05/24/2014 discharged with care and follow up orders.

October 2014. Hip is partially fused and will never be the same. We have started PT weight bearing

Respiratory

March 2014 reggie went in for a routine botox injection in salivary glands. They insisted on incubating and his lungs and salivation have never been the same. He is now colonized with gram negative psuedomonous. Chronic cough and excessive saliva. Even though they surgical removed some salivary glands. After 8 months of not eating by mouth he is taking 1-2 bites of chocolate pudding and his cough is managed with Singular.

CW update

Reggie has been on CW cannabis oil for 10 weeks and Reggie's seizures are improving. He is still clustering every 3-4 days, but in the last couple cycles he only had 1-2 seizures. Before we started he was have 6-9 seizures. So I can say with confidence we have a 70% reduction in seizures.
He started eating small amount since starting, but he is only 70 lbs
Now, I need to get him healthy. He is in a Malnutrition state. He starts continous feeds at night.
Reggie has also started back with IMT Integrative manual Therapy. He has wonderful therapist right here in colorado springs. I will be contacting the local nursing school to see if I can get volunteers for NFP.

December update

With the holidays, sickness, and lots of adjustments December was a hard month. We went up/down on CBD. Reggie's good days are much better than before and seizures are down, but he still has seizure clusters every 3 days.
1. 
Tried small dose of THC, twice with oil and once in vaporizer and all three times it prompted a seizure cluster. So we know for sure pure THC is NOT good for reggie.
2. 
Vaporized very high CBD CW and it works wonderful for seizure clusters and extreme neurological irritability.
3. 
Started Integrative Manual Therapy. First priority is to detox liver.
